Spring Day By Zhu Xi Beautiful day, admiring beautiful flowers alongside the Sishui River. Endless beautiful scenery is so refreshing to me. The East Wind suddenly touches my face. Ten thousand purple and one thousand red are the colors of the Spring.
About the Poet Zhu Xi (1130 - 1200 A.D) was one of China’s greatest philosophers and poets. His scholarly works have had tremendous influence on Chinese philosophy, and students memorized his teachings for over 600 years until the start of the 20th century. -Adele |
