We adopted her in September, 2002. We thought you would like to hear how Ning Fang is doing. She is now 2 years old. She has a very sunny personality, is very bright, and is a real angel. She has brought so much joy to our family, and is loved by all of us. Her growth has been amazing. Every day she grows smarter and prettier. She loves people and likes to investigate new things. She has already figured out how to put on her shoes. Ning Fang spends a few days each week in a very good daycare facility. The daycare keeps her busy with a lot of activities. She takes a dance class, is learning the alphabet and is starting to play on a computer. We are teaching her both English and Chinese. She likes to say ‘eat’ and she often repeats ‘hua,’ which is Chinese for ‘flower.’ We sent some toys and clothes that we hope your children can use. Could you use some music CDs or tapes? What else would be good to send? Please tell us how you are doing. We would like to stay in contact with you. Please thank all of the orphanage staff who cared for her and thank you for sending their pictures. Our daughter can recognize the person who cared for her, and tries to talk to the pictures. Enclosed are some pictures of us. We thank you for your dedicated and skilled support of the children. Enclosed is a list of questions.
